Max D. Fulton
Prior to joining Gordon Sign Company, Max built his career helping troubled companies navigate restructuring or bankruptcy processes. By assuming interim operational roles within struggling companies, Max was instrumental in increasing value, which led to several successful emergences or acquisitions.
This work included acting as interim CFO for an international media company, where he managed three companies with $100 million in annual aggregate revenue, $25 million in EBITDA and over 500 employees. This included carving-out 300 IT employees, stabilizing operations and maintaining strong EBITDA performance.
After working with mature companies, Max expanded into the world of start-ups by co-founding Mad Genius Radio. Under Max’s leadership, Mad Genius raised over $3 million in funding through several rounds of financing, grew to 10 employees, developed a strong culture and garnered more than 10,000 users. Much of Max’s role involved designing infrastructure, seeking product/market fit and iterating on product development.
Max has held the following designations: Certified Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV), Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) and Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).
